Glad you are checking out the “New Here” section of our website. Perhaps you are seeking the church where you can find a focus on Bible study, worship, and fellowship. A place where you can not only grow spiritually, but also find the place of service God has for you. At First Baptist Church of Dumas we seek to join together to provide for spiritual growth within, and ministries and missions that reach outward. We believe you will find a community of followers of Jesus Christ in which you can grow.
We are located at 200 E. Waterman Street in Dumas. Parking is available in several areas adjacent to the church and folks stand ready to provide directions as needed.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m., and we have classes available from the nursery up. Our worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. We also have a service for the farmers of our area that meets at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Worship on Wednesdays is our fellowship meal each week. Meals are prepared at the church and we begin at 6:00 a.m. Following our meal we have a time of intercessory prayer followed by Bible study that is a verse-by-verse study of a chosen book of the Bible. Each Wednesday evening we have opportunities for both youth and children as well.
